An ideal “home away from home” for a weekend getaway! This delightful, cozy cottage is in the picturesque historic community of Cumberland Gap, TN, nestled in the Appalachian wilderness. A relaxing mountain stream flows along the back of the property. The cottage features a full kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms, dining room, living room, and washer/dryer.  

Everything you need to relax, decompress, and enjoy the beauty of this village adjacent to a National Park. 

The Space And Its Amenities 

When you walk in, you immediately notice the antique woodwork, craftsmanship almost 100 years old. The cottage features two bedrooms, one with two twin beds and a fun nautical theme, and one with an ornate full-sized bed. The total sleeping capacity is 7 guests, including the full-sized air mattress and couch. 

The living room is spacious and comfortable, and the rest of the public space (dining room and fully equipped kitchen) is convenient and makes meals fun. The bathroom has a step-in shower, full vanity, and conveniently placed outlets that make getting ready simple and fast. There is also a full laundry room with a washer and dryer, free for guests to use.  

Pets are considered upon request and subject to extra fees.  

How To Get There 

The home is located about two blocks outside the main town of Cumberland Gap. It is very easily walkable into town. Walking is strongly recommended; there is no better way to appreciate the wildlife and scenery of this beautiful area. If you plan on traveling to neighboring towns of Harrogate, Tazewell, Middlesboro, or Pineville, you will need a vehicle. We provide free parking on the premises, and there is also additional street parking less than a block away. 

Also Noteworthy 

Our lovely Cozy Cumberland Gap Cottage is located within walking distance of Gap Creek Coffeehouse, Nineteen-19 Bar & Grill, Angelo’s, and the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. If you want to just hang out, a chair beside the small stream that flows over the back of the property is perfect. You can also do the easy hike to the Iron Furnace historical site, or hide away cozy day inside reading a good book! We are also only miles away from the main campus of Lincoln Memorial University, less than five minutes; the LMU vet campus (less than fifteen minutes away), and you can enjoy drives in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia from this great central location.
